Eugene Scott

Eugene Scott is a senior politics reporter covering Congressional leadership for Axios and the co-author of the newsletter Hill Leaders. He previously covered national politics for the Washington Post and hosted the Next Four Years, a podcast about the 2020 election. Prior to that, Scott was a Washington Correspondent for CNN Politics Digital. He has been an award-winning, multi-media journalist for two decades. In that time, Scott has won multiple awards and fellowships for his work specifically related to covering politics, business, and education. He was previously a fellow at the Georgetown University Institute of Politics.
