Dr. Pippa Norris

Dr. Pippa Norris is a premier scholar in comparative politics focusing on democracy, public opinion, elections, political communications, and gender politics from a global perspective. She has taught at Harvard University for over 25 years and is affiliated with several programs, such as the Harvard Kennedy School as the Paul F. McGuire Lecturer and the Department of Government as a Faculty Affiliate. Dr. Norris established the Electoral Integrity Project in 2012, and while on sabbatical leave she served as the Director of Democratic Governance at the United Nations Development Program. She has published over 50 books, her latest title being Cultural Backlash: Trump, Brexit and Populist Authoritarianism (2019) with Ronald Inglehart.
